Photo by @lucianocandisani ( Luciano Candisani ). This is one of the pictures picture of my recent coverage about whale watching in Tonga. I spent 15 days in this polynesian archipelago on assignment for @onelapsebr, the main photo workshop company in Brazil. Our idea is to produce a photo reportage showing the places in the world that are using wildlife watching tourism as a real conservation toll. This image shows a Tongan boat dedicated to whale watching, a modality of environmentally sustainable tourism that generates an positive economic impact of more than 20 billion dollars in 120 countries, including those few countries still practicing comercial whaling such as Norway, Iceland and Japan.
