@beerbottles_chainsaws collaborated with recent Pratt Graduate Emily Ridings on the handwoven skirt that became a downright sensation at Afropunk this year. It seemed as if Anderson, who produces events for Man Repeller, couldn’t walk so much as a few steps without someone asking for her picture. “At Afropunk there’s never a shortage of ‘Yes queen, go sis, I see you!’,” Anderson says. “If I was in sweats, I feel like I would have gotten the same reaction. It's just such a supportive community, and it’s why I keep coming back every year.”
