“Afropunk is the home of creatives, misfits, and rebels,” says @alithecreator, designer of streetwear brand Overlook and one of the many colorful festival-goers who descended on Barry Commodore Park in Brooklyn today. It goes without saying that he wore one of his own creations to the event. “I make a lot of one-of-one pieces. The pants I'm wearing are called ‘The Crazy Jeans,’ actually. I get pants secondhand from thrift stores and then I go crazy from there.”
