First race since the Commonwealth Games 4 months ago today at the Birmingham Diamond League ? in the 1000m after arriving over in the UK from New Zealand last week!

Not a great race from me but good to blow the race cobwebs out and thankful to be at such a big meet again especially after a hard road to get here! Also was so special to catch up with my training partner @mackeykb who ran the 3000m as well as lots of my other running friends from around the world! ???

Interesting running a 1k as it's not raced very often. My time today was 2.38 so was 1 second off my official NZ record, and 2 seconds off what I've run in a time trial but I hope to go lots faster than next time! ?
