Photo by @jonathan_irish // Snorkeling in the aquamarine lagoon of Rangiroa, French Polynesia at a sight affectionately referred to as “the aquarium”. Why is it called the aquarium? Because there are SO many fish here that it feels like you are swimming in an aquarium. Both tourists and locals come here to be swarmed by tropical fish. Getting an over/under (half/half) shot like this requires a large dome port on the front of an underwater camera housing, the right scene that has subjects both above and below the water, and a lot of patience and trial and error.
