after the end of a beautiful relationship, after the stress of finding out my celiac isn’t confirmed and could be a worse thing or just a prolonged diagnosis where i now have to eat gluten so i’m Mr Poopy for the next few weeks (trying to be okay with it lol,) and after feeling worried/nervous/scared to be honest with those closest to me, i am tired. however, i am also feeling as full as possible. i don’t know how i am capable of that, but oh my ocean, i am.

life is like a tidal wave. you never know it’s coming, or even if you did trust the weather, the notification came too late. i’m okay with missing notifications on my phone, if it means i’m drowning in the sunset with some best pals by the ocean. i’m okay with not checking my email for a few weeks, if it means i’m spending my moments in the moment when the weather is actually nice. i’ve been forgoing some important relationships and communications, alongside my EP which is finally coming out!!!, simply because life has been this constant, never ending tidal wave. later this month, i’ll be having a long awaiting ADHD texting appointment. that, alongside my various GI issues, may provide me with some answers and tools to use for the future. the future that i want to be in.

i’m disappointed i haven’t finished the projects i’ve set out to conquer for y’all, albeit i think you understand. i love you, i care about you, and i want to fulfill the expectations that are put on me. for now, in this breath of fresh, salty air - i’ll forgive myself for being delayed. i’ll let go of this baggage like a kite taking flight. and when i’m reeled back in, like i am being now, i will accomplish these dreams. i am. i am still learning.
