lately, i’ve been pondering the “then” and the “now.” i’ve needed to merge the two in order to embrace healthier habits, in my relationships, health, self, and in my heart. the answers haven’t always been clear (wow so ~ambiguous~ ;)) but they do come.

after just a few days at the gym, i feel amazing. after just a few weeks of low/no gluten, i feel refreshed. after a few months of sunshine and rain clouds, i feel understood. after reaching out to some amazing friends, i feel whole and happy. wholly happy. like srsly beaming ? srsly beaming even when lightning looms nearby. srsly beaming even when i’m not sure what tomorrow may bring.

healing isn’t linear. each genuine smile is an accomplish. i’m feeling better and worse with every passing hour, every sunset, every changing season. today i choose to own my season. to paint, rejoice, and make the right decisions. i still feel weak, raw. i know i’m not alone. how are you?
