It is also the second fastest eroding coastline in the world as winter swells hammer the coastline. The community in the north beyond Hanalei are still recovering from landslides that occurred earlier this year and there is hope the famous coastline trek will be open for access for visiting hikers later this year. Thankfully there are many ways to experience this idyllic coastline and watch the last light cast it’s golden rays. #kauai #hiking
