An emergency worker carries the body of a child found in the ruins of San Miguel Los Lotes, a small Guatemalan village that was decimated by the eruption of the Volcán de Fuego, on June 4. Photographer @daniele_volpe was in Guatemala City, where he is based, when the #volcano erupted the day earlier. Upon arriving to this small community the next morning, he found "an incredible sense of quiet. Everything was covered in ash, silent, motionless."
