Marion island is home to hundreds of thousands of penguins and lies deep in the southern ocean, about halfway between South Africa and Antarctica. In 2017 I was privileged to spend a month on Marion photographing for @ナショナルジオグラフィック magazine. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, but sadly some the island’s seabirds are now in grave danger.
