We were dwarfed by Hoodoos so fragile, a strong wind could have pushed them over. ‘Badlands’ give us a look at a massive amount of history in a short amount of time. In many ways a dream for anyone that is a fan of geology. There was no specific trail & information was sparse in this part of New Mexico, every feature denoted by GPS coordinates, the only guarantee is that if you can’t remember your path back, getting lost would be a very good possibility. We learned that the hard way.
