It’s National Parks week. A celebration of what has been called our Nations ‘best idea’... I couldn’t agree more. By far the greatest way to see/ explore these places is far from the car with your feet in stirrups, hiking boots, climbing shoes or skis. Anything that allows you to really get off the pavement. It’s usually in the backcountry that real magic exists for me.
