Sri Lanka Beach Clean ? Tag a friend you want to do a beach clean with ?♀️ This is how much plastic we collected on a 50m stretch of beach in just 20 minutes; right in the heart of in a secluded National Park ? The locals say that fresh plastic washes up every day from the Indian Ocean in overwhelming quantities ? This ocean plastic has serious consequences, damaging ecosystems and harming wildlife??♀️ So what can we do to fight this? ➡️ Pick it up. If you see plastic on a beach, or in any area of natural beauty, please pick it up and dispose of it properly. (Recycling if possible!). This can help stop it causing further harm to coastal wildlife. ➡️ Ultimately, clean beaches start at home. Take a look at your daily life and see where you’re consuming plastic and implement some sustainable swaps to reduce this.
