I’m debating over having my 4th breast surgery at the age of 30 and as I get a lot of questions about this I thought I’d address it here. My breasts failed to develop naturally so at the age of 18 I first went under the knife to have DD silicone implants to correct the size, shape, height and also directions of my nipples as I was naturally an A/AA and have always been a size UK6/8. I have a hormone imbalance that may have attributed to my asymmetry, however nobody is perfect and we will all have features that mismatch and misalign. For me, growing into a young woman, I just wanted to feel normal and replace the part of my body that never grew properly and I felt incomplete without. I’ve had all of my surgery privately paid for by myself, never to burden or please others. After having my second child at the age of 25 my chest collapsed and I had to have two further breast surgeries (removal,replacement & reconstruction) to repair the damage which took me to a FF. 5yrs on and I’m looking to switch my implants from sitting above the muscle to under or partially under for longevity, I also want to go up a couple of sizes to a H cup to fill the skin. Being into fitness women often lose bodyfat from their breasts, breastfeeding loosens the skin and with time implants don’t sit as well as they once did. Having larger breasts will bring me to the retail limit for bras before requiring them to be custom made, the implants will sit more securely without as much risk of drooping with age and with a larger implant I won’t need to have an uplift. These are my reasons medically for wanting my 4th surgery, emotionally and physically I adore the female form, I love the curves and shape breasts add to my otherwise long slim body and it makes me feel more body confident and feminine. I’m all for celebrating beauty in every shape, size and colour whether you find that naturally or with enhancement, only you know what is right for you. If my naturally small breasts had developed properly I never would have thought about surgery regardless of their size, yet having surgery has given me a body I would never have experienced ❤️ #breasts #breastsurgery #breastimplants #surgery
