TRAINING IN PAIN??
Question i get all the time, Doc i have pain what should i do? @サディク・ハドゾビック @vladpetric @dr.amato_pt @kglobuschutz @bethpagept

I get it, being a competitive athlete and loving to train, i never liked to miss practice or working out but have learned over the years as im aging to modify parameters to stay in the game and do what i love. Besides finding a great physical therapist these are some tips:

?guidelines: Intense sharp pain, DONT TRAIN, our body gives us signals to warn us something is off!

?Pain makes us change our mechanics, That can lead to worse INJURIES! ?cardio warm up 5-10 minutes and get that heart rate up!!

?perform some dynamic stretches prior to training

?train in multiple clothing layers to increase warmth and remove as you need. Most pro athletes wear Several layers prior to their events or training! Body temperature can stay elevated for as long as 50 minutes as we remove layers and continue to train

?use machines where you dont have to worry about balancing bars and dumbbells until you see someone and they can figure out your source of pain

?decrease your weight and slow the tempo!!

?do a few sets and spread the workload over a few days during the week

?perform isolation movements prior to compound ones

?Again seek the right medical professional to evaluate you!!
