Pictured here are an unusual 1970s giardenetto brooch by #Bulgari and a 1930s hardstone, enamel and diamond bracelet with a fascinating story. Linked to the work of the famed Austrian jeweller #Paltscho, this bracelet was purchased by a Jewish student in Prague in the late 1930s as a way to weather the political and financial volatility ahead. After the war, it travelled with its owner to England, no longer as a portable vessel for wealth, but as a treasured heirloom. Sale in #London on 20 March #SothebysJewels
