Believe it or not, I was super skinny growing up and my uncle would call me skeletor and my mom would always joke that I had tape worms because I would eat so much and never gain weight. It didn’t help that I was a long distance runner in high school and continued to run throughout college and never lifted weights. When I met @justinmartinphoto 6 years I started my #muscle building journey💪🏼 .
Why I love hitting the weights: .
- muscle burns more calories at rest than body fat
. - muscles build strength to keep you going for the long haul
- muscle memory is a thing! This means you only get better with time and when life happens and you have to put a stop to your training routine you can start back up and see results faster than you may have expected. .
- and last but not least, you won’t be skinny anymore🙈 yes bring on the curves. 🍑
