Eight has been amazing and trying and beautiful and rough. She's so independent, so assertive, and yet tender. I see how much she's like me, and how different. She loves herself, and doesn't yet think about her looks and it's a beautiful thing. She's highly sensitive, just like her mama, and is easily stressed by chaos, but resilient too. Strong. She's happiest when drawing or reading quietly, and listens to music as often as she can. She loves to be social, but when she's done...she's done. I love having this daughter of mine, this sweet Bean, this little love, my heart, seeing her grow, change, and become.
