What can I say about Aldabra Atoll #seychelles that I haven’t said before on my feed. I LOVE this pristine place !!! Its shivers of sharks, armies of coconut crabs and squadrons of frigate birds always remind me how island ecosystems can thrive if they are well managed and protected. So I am especially thrilled that the Aldabra marine reserve, which was only a tiny sliver around the Atoll, was expanded yesterday to include an area the size of Scotland! Well done to @nature_org @leonardodicapriofdn @レオナルド・ディカプリオ and all the critical local Seychellois role players who made this happen. The Seychelles Islands Foundation @sif_seychelles manages all conservation and science on Aldabra. They are new to Instagram so please show them some love and follow @sif_seychelles
