we call this “shikata ga nai”. 仕方が無い.
If I listened to all the mean stuff people said to me, if I let the haters bother me, I’d never be able to reach my full potential, I’d never be able to shine my light.
Part of becoming a badass business woman means one must learn to not care so much.
I’ve had an immense amount of struggle and roadblocks the past few months & working through them has been both challenging and humbling.
God grant me more grace as I move on to the next chapters of my life. ??????
As Mom and I were working on this next book, her and I both acknowledged and prepared how there would be many more haters to come.
But, we cannot allow those few people to stand in our way. You cannot either.
The measure of people we can help with our story greatly outweighs the haters that will come. I urge you to remember, everyone is going through something.. so let up, give grace to others, if you’re trolling other people, go find a hobby!
Grace + empathy are free.
I don’t care what all the mean & selfish people say anymore— I’ve had to let that go.
And if you think this career looks easy, please allow me to tell you, it’s been a hell of a ride.
But I’m proud, I’m honored and I’m writing another badass b @girlboss story for you this AM that I hope will shift your thinking and way of life.
I love you and I can’t tell you how important these growing pains & moments of self realization are changing me, all for the better.
It’s the preparation, the endurance, the destiny.
