I will forever be thankful to the stars that brought us together ?
Today is World Cancer day and I’m dreaming of a world without cancer ???✨In partnership with @vodafoneau and the @garvaninstitute we are encouraging everyone to download the inspirational DreamLab app that uses your phone’s processing power to help scientists solve cancer research problems while you’re sleeping ? How awesome is that!
Many of you may already know we faced cancer last year when Bobby was diagnosed with melanoma ? It’s the word you never want to hear, that changed my reality in an instant. My heart sank deep into my stomach, tears poured faster than I could wipe them away, a blanket of fear swallowed me whole. I felt like my world fell apart in that moment. The mere thought of losing my husband, father of our children, love of my life, was the most heart aching pain imaginable ? We had to dig deep to stay positive about the journey ahead. And we did. United we realized we can and will face this together. And we are so beyond thankful that Bobby received the all clear last year.
It feels like we all know someone who has been through this, and sadly lost their family and friends to cancer ? Let’s unite today on World Cancer day, and set an intention for a world without cancer.
