4 years ago, my mom and I, dropped everything and decided to help this cause as a volunteer to end the inhumane procedure of declawing.❤️ We've devoted our every waking hour to help save kitties from having their toe bones and claws amputated like the ones in these photos from 2015. Things are slowly but surely changing for the better but not fast enough in my opinion. 64 days ago, we were silenced from speaking out against declawing. I can't even speak about what has happened. It is devastating because we are just respectfully trying to educate the public about the awful truth about declawing so that they won't want to do this harmful and mutilating procedure to their kitties. Everyone, including a cat like me, should have the right to free speech and freedom of the press. I ALWAYS ask my supporters to take the high road and be respectful with your comments with my campaigns. When you are disrespectful and threatening, it hurts the cause, it's wrong, and it hurts me because the pro-declaw people blame your threatening words on my respectful campaigns. I know it's hard to not be angry at declawing vets who put greed over the welfare of cats and who are unethical and don't educate their clients about how declawing ALWAYS harms the health and well-being of a kitty. I know it is hard to not be angry at so many willfully ignorant cat owners who act like this barbaric amputation procedure is ok to do to their beloved kitties. I know it is hard to not be furious at those who condone declawing and say it is better to declaw a cat than for it to die in a shelter or not have a home. #IgnorantExcuses But we must rise about their ignorance, greed, and corruption and try to keep inspiring these human beings to wake up, stop condoning this animal cruelty, and do the right thing and help us END this inhumane and sadistic amputation procedure.
