I think I'm going stay in here for awhile. ?
This last month has been difficult. Here are just 3 of the things that have happened that are quite unbelievable since all we are trying to do is respectfully educate the public about declawing so that this inhumane procedure ends.
I've been silenced for speaking out against declawing. Day 63.
I'm now being harassed by a long time @avmavets declawing vet who wants a retraction, an apology, and wants me to take down a story I did about his declawing procedure that he says is painless and doesn't use pain meds for the cats. Story is on the link on my Instagram bio. #truth
I'm getting harassed by people who condone declawing and say it is my fault that many of you harass and threaten employees and volunteers at shelters and vet services when I do my campaigns to educate the public or to inspire people or organizations to stop declawing. ? (All three of those are different situations)
This isn't easy trying to save kitties from having their toes & claws amputated!
I really am on the verge of taking a break from all this. ?
As you know, my mom works on this cause as a volunteer & is using a lot of her savings to keeping working on it full-time.
