Been scoping some old and new projects here in Red Rocks. Today we checked this line up at the right fork of Black Velvet. Rad barely overhanging face with holds that are few and far apart! I rapped it on a rope and thought it would go in the next few tries. I crumbled. Classic downward spiral from ‘next try for sure’ to falling lower and lower, to skin is so shredded that not a chance. #couldnteven Punting off the last move enough times will do that to you. Luckily @katakaha saved the day and took it to the top! Another day, another great new bloc goes up! @blackdiamond @lasportivagram
