This Stuffed Chili Relleno with our Oyster Flavored Sauce is rich and savory! ?
Ingredients
monterey jack cheese , shredded 8 ounces
mushroom , finely chopped 2 ounces
chili , pasilla, roasted and seeded with removed skin, or bell pepper or eggplant 4 pieces
black pepper , for taste 1 pinch
flour 1 Tablespoon
oil , for cooking 1 ounce
eggs , beaten 3 whole
ground beef 4 ounces
Seasoning Mix
PANDA BRAND™ Oyster Flavored Sauce 1 Tablespoon
Hoisin Sauce 2 Tablespoons
Directions
1. In a heated pan with oil, cook ground beef until almost done. Add in mushroom and Oyster Flavored Sauce. Cook mixture for another two minutes and cool.
2. Mix ground beef and Monterey jack cheese in small bowl. Season with black pepper.
3. Stuff chili pasilla with beef mixture. Dust with flour and soak in beaten eggs.
4. Pan fry chili relleno until golden brown on each side. Serve chili relleno with Hoisin Sauce, if desired.
