The thing about sports : in order for someone to win, someone else has to lose. Being a true sports fan, sometimes you get kicked in the feels, hard. That being said - I couldn’t be more proud of my team, & especially of the seniors that chose to play another year for us and set us up for success to come. We fought hard for every inch in every game, and we played with class. It was such an amazing season that was so fun to be a part of. This year I got to watch my Dawgs whoop up on Florida at the Cocktail Party, I heard Glory Glory to Ole Georgia play instead of Rocky Top after a shutout on the road, and I watched them be crowned the SEC Champions. I screamed at my laptop from Bali as we defeated Samford, I wore my G proud in Orange County the day we rolled over Notre Dame, and was back in ATL the year we reclaimed the state over Tech. The inspiration and motivation to my own athletics from all of this and my advice to you all - don’t be afraid to stop and smell the roses on your journey to your ultimate goal along the way ?? - celebrate the wins when they come, appreciate the lessons from the losses, and always be proud of the effort.
