Staring into the Eyes of the Sea. What do I see?

What I’d love to say is some sort of mystical images, or clarity, or maybe my future. But really it was just a bunch of mud. .
Sticky, blooming, underwater mud that was so thick it could pull a truck into the lagoon. What’s wild to me is that the lagoon is so high up in the Andes and goes so deep you can’t see the bottom.

This gorgeous salt flat pool was difficult to get to: a 10 hour drive up to 14,000ft/4,267m in altitude. But to me it was so worth it.
