The Atacama Desert in Northern Chile has some ruggedly gorgeous landscape, huh?

I was so lucky to experience a handful of breathtaking views during my stay, made possible by Tierra Hotel Atacama in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.
.
There are so many things that make this luxury property special (the food, omg - the food!), but what blows me away is their commitment to preserving this land and all of its beauty for many generations to come.
.
This is definitely one of the best hotels I stayed in this year. The service, the tours and the accommodations were spectacular. But their policy of respecting the land, hiring local indigenous people, going 100% solar and using purified water from their own desalination plant really pushes them to another level.
