#MeetOurSpecialists – Lynda McLeod, our Head Librarian in London, has worked at our King Street archives for almost 20 years.

The archives now occupy more than two kilometres of shelf space, with sales catalogues dating back to 1766.

'It’s nice to be between the commercial world and academia,’ says McLeod. ‘Two days a week, by appointment, we are open to researchers or curators. We also help people with their catalogue raisonnés and students with their PhDs.’

‘Lovely "eureka moments" happen all the time. All of a sudden you’ll hear, "Yes!", when researchers find that little golden nugget they’ve been searching for, sometimes for decades.’
