#Bestof2017. In March, our #Impressionist, Modern & Surrealist Art Evening Sales achieved a combined total of £194.7m, the highest total for any auction ever staged in #London. Blooming onto the market having remained in a private collection since 1994, Gustav #Klimt’s luminous and rare masterpiece ‘Bauerngarten’ of 1907 led the sales to make £48 million. The public exhibition in our #NewBondStreet galleries for the #Surrealist art sale also featured innovative #VR Goggles as part of a 360 #virtualreality experience, which enabled visitors to ‘step into the paintings’ as never before. #SothebysImpMod #GustavKlimt
