Everyone of us knows someone afflicted by cancer at one stage in our lives. It’s a disease that affects too many and any little amount we can do to help, we will. This past year has been an emotional one for us. My husband, love of my life, @bobbybense was diagnosed with melanoma, and it shook us to our core. It changed everything in an instant. It was honestly the scariest experience of my life. The thought of living without him was unbearable ? I just kept thinking about him not growing old with us, not meeting his grandkids, and I would be in a flood of tears ? Thankfully Bobby has had multiple procedures and is now cancer free ?? We have taken this brush with cancer and are making every preventative effort to keep him well and be proactive in the community in whatever way we can.
