W.O.W...what an absolutely incredible time I had last night!!...Truly speechless. It was such an honor to have received the first Ambassador of Change Award from my dear friends, @manuelatestolini & @エリック・ベネイ, at the @perfectworldfdn gala. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to find people throughout my life who saw potential in me & helped mentor me along the way. But unfortunately, today, it seems as though there are fewer individuals who are willing to take the time to inspire & develop the interests of our young men & women. I'm a firm believer that if every adult in this country committed to helping one young person, we would be well on our way to resolving some of the problems that our children are facing today. So, Manuela, thank you for what you do...It does not go unnoticed & your positive impact is undoubtedly changing lives across the world...You are such a beautiful soul & I thank you for honoring me in the way you did...Also, a very SPECIAL thanks to #GeorgeBenson, Frances & Smokey Robinson, #StevieWonder, #GregPhillinganes, #JR, #NeilStubenhaus, #David Foster, @SiedahGarrett, @ShoBean, @SheleaMusic, @KennyLattimore, @fritzietina, all the other incredible performers, & friends who came out to make this bald-headed, bow-legged 84 year old man feel special!
