I know this LOOKS nasty... but stick with me. Taking shots of this homemade tonic will kill the nasty bacteria in your throat and beyond- which kicks a cold or cough real quick. It burns going down the hatch and will most likely make you cry. ? You're probably thinking— why would I even try this?! Well, if you could get better super quick without any medicine, why not?! . Rawkstar Tonic is a "passed down from generations of hippies" kinda recipe that I try to keep on hand at all times. It's made from common produce items and is completely natural, which is why I get so excited about it. This stuff truly works... if you can stomach it! ? If you want to kick your cold or keep it from ever happening, make this: . RAWKSTAR TONIC COLD REMEDY . 1/2 cup fresh ginger root grated 1/2 cup fresh horseradish root grated 1 onion chopped 10 garlic cloves crushed or chopped 2 jalapeno peppers chopped 1 lemon zest and juice Apple cider vinegar INSTRUCTIONS :: 1️⃣ Dice, peel and chop all ingredients into small pieces and toss into a bowl. (If you've never grated fresh horseradish, it can be intense!) 2⃣ Mix it all together and scoop into a quart-sized mason jar. 3️⃣ Pour apple cider vinegar on top of all ingredients until completely submerged. 4️⃣ Cover with an airtight lid. (You can place a piece of parchment paper under the lid to keep the vinegar from touching the metal, or use a plastic lid if you have one.) 5️⃣ Shake well and store in a dark, cool place for a month (like the back of a pantry) and shake every few days. 6️⃣ After a month, pour contents through a sieve to separate the liquid from the solids. 7️⃣ Pour the liquid that went through the sieve in a sterilized clean jar in the fridge— this is your Rawkstar Tonic. .
