Photo by @christopheviseux // Dhofar Region, Salalah, Oman. The end of the monsoon season (Khareef) in Southern Oman creates spectacular landscapes in this otherwise dry area. This weather pattern is unique in the region. From June to September, it is quite astonishing to see rain soaked mountains and fog, while the rest of the Arabian Peninsula experiences a rise in temperatures of up to 45º Celsius (+110F).
