Even on low carb days, we are still killing it! This Meal right here is full of flavor and packed with protein and fiber. A few carbs from veggies, including tomatoes and some healthy fats from avocados. When your on the go make sure you pack in the protein with each meal, this will be crucial for maintaining lean body mass. Most restaurants will have side options that include either grilled chicken, steak, shrimp or fish. There’s nothing unhealthy about this meal and even though this plate is packed with food this meal is still low in carbs. It's important to understand what foods contain what macros and to be able to know the difference in portion size you're consuming. Over time you should be able to eye ball 4, 6, or 8 and even 10 ounces of various foods look like. If your eating out, don't be hesitant to ask how the food is made or to make any adjustments you need/want from there.
