The Princess Royal, as Chancellor of the University of the Highlands and Islands, has visited Stornoway and Inverness to welcome the first intake of nursing students.

HRH toured the Western Isles Hospital and the Centre for Health Science, meeting a number of the students, and also announced plans announced to introduce a Chancellor's Nursing Award to recognise excellence in the nursing cohort.
