The demolition of the Kosciuszko Bridge, which was scheduled to begin this morning at 5:00 A.M., has been postponed. But any day now, maybe, the last sections of the bridge (which has connected Queens and Brooklyn since 1939) will be blown up, and the original bridge will be no more. Recently, the illustrator @abstractsunday took a morning to draw the old structure—remembering the agonizing hours he’d spent on the highway above— and simply enjoying the view.
