At the National Day Rally, I spoke about beating diabetes. I made four suggestions to reduce the risk of diabetes: getting regular medical checkups, exercising, eating healthier and eating less, and cutting down on soft drinks.

One of the easiest ways to start is to make small changes to what you normally do everyday. For instance, I walk up the stairs instead of taking the lift to my office. If we are consistent, these small steps will accumulate and help keep us healthy.
