#SustainableSwaps ? Let's talk about coffee cups! ☕️ Paper coffee cups are mostly non-recyclable as they are lined with plastic to avoid leaks. When we throw them "away" they don't disappear. They still exist somewhere on earth - in landfill or in the ocean ? In America alone over 50 billion coffee cups end up in landfills each year! And they take years (sometimes hundreds) to decompose! ? This is contributing to our huge global waste issue. Plus, to produce all the disposable cups we use millions and billions of trees and gallons of water.
