My go to breakfast for hot summer days: a big, fat smoothie bowl, pretty much by the ones I shot for @vivibistrot (like this one) a couple of weeks ago. It's very simple: you need a blender, fresh fruit of the season, specially if they look like they can't take the heat any longer. Better if there's a banana in the middle. A splash of your milk of choice, 2 dollops of yoghurt. Seeds, and nuts. Rolled oats, as a filling element with some extra protein. You can blend them in to thicken the smoothie or toast them and add on the top (or just use granola like this one). A pinch of salt and a ton of cinnamon because no season is too hot for tons of cinnamon. These days I add dry rose petals too. And when I feel particularly weary, I blend in my vitamin B powder right into it too! And in the meantime, another Summer weekend has arrived! Voila! ????
