These temples were built from the 11th to the 13th century and over 10,000 Buddhist temples were constructed in and around Bagan. This is one of the most famous tourist areas in Myanmar and for good reason. The temples are amazing. Some of them have bamboo scaffolding around them because this region was hit with a severe earthquake a few years ago and they are being stabilized. #bagan #oldbagan #myanmar
