Last week Princess Alexandra spent the day in West Sussex, where she opened the Arundel Museum's new gallery.

The Museum, which tells the story of the historic town of Arundel, is largely run by volunteers and was awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service earlier this year.

Her Royal Highness later visited St. Mary's Historic House in Bramber to open the new King's Garden and meet some of the 45 volunteers involved in the project.
