The Duke of Edinburgh has hosted Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Gold Award presentations at Hillsborough Castle, Northern Ireland and at Buckingham Palace.

The receptions celebrate the hard work of the young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award, which takes a minimum of 12 months to complete.

Founded by The Duke in 1956, @dofeuk is the world's leading youth achievement award that develops over 400,000 young people for life and work every year in the UK.
