Doesn't matter if you're on vacation...staying active is ESSENTIAL!! How many people think vacation is a set up for weight gain and failure? How many people disdain from starting their fitness journey because they're going on a trip? There is absolutely no need! You CAN stay active, make smart choices and still enjoy every ounce of your vacation! (Probably moreso than not if you're actually feeling good about yourself!) If your hotel has a gym...USE IT (or don't and just head out to the beach for a jog on the sand or boardwalk). Embrace the outdoors. Embrace the sunshine. Embrace the fact that you're allowed to take an hour of everyday for yourself and forget about all the stresses in life! Meditation is an entirely different subject I'll have to touch on but keeping your blood flowing sets the tone for the rest of the day and makes you that much more likely to stay on course!
