Right now: Lea Luna sleeping with her chubby little cheek pressed up against my arm. Right on my "I believe in the good things coming"-tattoo. I got this tattoo after @ahlaluna died, just two days before Dennis and I got married. We had 'Black as Night' by @nahkobear on repeat and danced to it more times than I could count during the last days we spent together. She chose the color of her dress with this song playing in the background. Dusty blue. When she died, it became my anthem. I played it obsessively, wanting so badly for the words to become true. I wanted to believe in the good things coming, coming, coming, for there to be a life after this death, for me to survive the pain. I wanted to believe things were going to be ok. But I didn't. @dennisfromsalad and I were about to get married but I was missing a bridesmaid and no matter how many times a day @nahkobear told me everything's already alright always alright always alright I didn't believe him. So I got it tattooed on my skin. It was a spur of the moment thing; we were walking down the streets of Stockholm and suddenly I was in the chair, permanently etching these words onto my arm. I cried the whole way through and strangely enough, the moment was captured and ended up in the music video for this song for the whole world to see. I believe in the good things coming. Come in, come in, come in. When I walked down the aisle the tattoo had just begun to heal and tiny flakes of black ink and skin were falling off my arm, scattering in the wind. I said I do longing with every cell in my body for my heart to heal together with my arm and for those words to come true. And now, here we are. It's three years later and I'm lying in bed, Lea Luna resting her head on this exact spot. I look down and just now, in this moment, it dawns on me: The good things came.
