What can you buy on Craigslist? Most people would draw the line at a house. Things to put inside a house? Yes. Materials to build a house with? Sure. OK. But the house itself? That’s what real estate agents are for. And yet, to hear the fashion-industry veteran Amanda Bupp (@amandarbupp) tell it, buying a house on Craigslist is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. It might even be a great idea. Amanda happened upon a foreclosure on Craigslist — a decrepit old hunting cabin. “There was no bathroom, and a drop ceiling with an attic that was just filled with stuff,” she told @tmagazine.
