Towards a #Sky: Measuring an astounding two by six metres, Princess Fahrelnissa Zeid’s #kaleidoscopic #canvas is packed with a tremendous energy and ethereal mysticism, not unlike the artist’s own unique and extraordinary character. Her seminal masterpiece, #Zeid kept a photograph of this painting at her bedside until she passed away. On public view for the first time in 60 years, this monumental canvas lights up our New Bond Street galleries until Monday afternoon. A #retrospective on the evolution of Zeid’s work is to open at the @テート・ギャラリー Modern in #London in June 2017 – once again bringing one of #Turkey’s most pioneering modernists to an international audience. #FahrelnissaZeid
