So pumped - 106kg/233lbs for 6 reps on Front Squat- this was both a 5 rep and 6 rep PR so I have now exceeded my pre-injured hip squat PRs which makes me very excited. To be honest, I was super sad to ditch back squats from my programming again when I got hurt - i love back squats - but my body responds much better to front squats and I can stay pain free without the back squat in the mix. There is no one size fits all in strength training - you find what works for you and hammer it hard. Before @max_aita started coaching me this was a hard single!
