Well, that was the coldest spring break of my life! Two weeks ago, we took off for @congareenps for a week of tent camping and hiking. Little do we know there was a storm up north that blew down 28 degree windy nights, froze our water bottles and had us shivering all night!

During the day, we went on hikes, gathered sticks for our ?, explored the visitor center and cooked meals either on, or right by, the fire. We had @kujucoffee, @mydandies smores, @traderjoes chocolate and a few other goodies to keep our tummies happy. The crazy thing is, beside the cold temps, we had such a great time! The kids loved hiking, crossing streams on logs, and spending uninterrupted time as a family.

They were sad when we left a day early (Ryan and I hit our breaking point and just really needed a warm shower and clean sheets again). The kids are already asking when we can go camping in another National Park. How cool is that?! #momwin
.
So yes... we booked our next national park camping trip. To finish of the Southeast parks, we are heading to the @virginislandsnps in November. We will be staying in Eco-Family Tents at Cinnamon Bay- so cool! Airfare was crazy cheap yesterday, so we went for it!
