Here's a vet clinic that wants you to know they just bought a $35,000 laser & are happy to use it to burn off your cat's toe bones and claws. It makes them smile.
Their spay/ laser declaw package is $332.15 and includes 1week of @purina 's Yesterday's News cat litter.
They do a lot of these declaws and often don't wear gloves or masks. Their employee says that they do surgeries from Monday-Friday and the spay/neuter laser declaw packages make up, "the majority of our surgeries."
When a cat owner asks one of their employees if their cat will be ok from this procedure and asks if there are any long term negative consequences, they say, " your kitty will be in discomfort for 1 week then should be ok."
Please sign my Purina petition so we can inspire Purina to help us educate cat owners about the harmful effects of declawing and why cats need their toe bones and claws since all the pro-declaw vets who use and recommend their cat litter aren't doing it and are deceiving cat owners about declawing.
